The Art of Allowing

Accepting, allowing, and interacting with your life as though it is exactly as it should be, without making yourself wrong (or right) for what you discover is the way to Self-Realization.” ~Ariel Kane

Just as the seasons change, so do we. Develop awareness of the changes that occur around you. Notice the natural changes and allow change to flow naturally without force within your life.

There is a deep well of inner wisdom within you. This innate sense of wisdom will guide you.

Start small. Practice making minor changes in order to build confidence. Evaluate what motivates you.

Change requires participation and action. Whatever you choose, allow it to nourish yourself and let go of any expectations.

Part of the real beauty of life is that it’s unpredictable. Nothing is permanent, everything changes, and of course, a lot of things can happen that will transform who you are and have an impact on your life.

Focus on taking small steps to create change you can be proud of. Don’t try to make major changes overnight; you’ll likely get overwhelmed. Just do one tiny thing every day to help you move you in a  direction.

Big or small, I find three things I did well and choose to acknowledge. Start building your self-confidence by choosing one thought to begin practicing today.  Self-confidence is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

Heart Day, Every Day!

“There are days I drop words of comfort on myself like falling leaves and remember that it is enough to be taken care of by myself.” ~Brian Andreas

“Caring for your body, mind, and spirit is your greatest and grandest responsibility. It’s about listening to the needs of your soul and then honoring them.” ~Kristi Ling

Never be ashamed to say, ‘I’m worn out. I’ve had enough. I need some time for myself.’ That isn’t being selfish. That isn’t being weak. That’s being human.” ~Topher Kearby

When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life.” ~Jean Shinoda Bolen

Do you ever forget to take care of yourself?

Sometimes, when we’re feeling stressed and running around taking care of everybody else, the healthiest thing we can do is to stop and consider how we can take care of ourselves.

While this seems obvious to some people, many of us struggle with the idea of putting ourselves first. We were raised to think we should always put others before ourselves and ignore our own needs that it is somehow self-centered and not a nice thing to do.

We all get lost sometimes. So lost that we lose track of who we are, where we’re going, what we want, and how to give ourselves what we need to feel nourished and healthy.

I’ve been there many times, enough times to realize that Self-Care isn’t a One Time Deal. It’s the constant repetition of many tiny habits.

Self-care is essential for us all, but looks different from person to person. We are all individuals with different preferences. Listen to your inner voice to find out what makes you content.

You deserve the time and attention.

Love

“You, yourself, as much as anybody else in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” ~Buddha

The most important decision of your life, is the commitment to love and accept yourself.

      Love & Accept yourself!

And it starts with yourself. So many of us, including myself, tend to beat ourselves down when we need our love the most. So, be good to yourself.

Self care is not selfish. I found that self-love is a not a destination; it’s a practice.

So choose to be most loving and forgiving with yourself when things don’t go as planned.

Life is full of ups and downs. No matter what happens on the outside, we can still have a solid foundation built on self love.

Imagine feeling more confident in who you are.

Imagine opening up your heart and allowing love in.
